About The Cornish Ice Cream Company

The inspiration behind the The Cornish Ice Cream Company came from an old picture postcard of a traditional ice cream bike together with our family link with ice cream which goes back over 50 years.  The Cornish side of the family ran an ice cream and candy bar for many years in the Midlands.  The other side of the family have strong historic links with market trading.

After returning to our Cornish roots, as the second and third generation we felt it was time to resurrect the family traditions of selling ice cream and taking the goods to the people to enjoy outdoors.  The bringing together of ice cream selling and market trading has resulted in the The Cornish Ice Cream Company becoming a family business.

We have chosen to sell KELLY'S Ice Cream, because of their fine quality Cornish Ice Cream and the importance of a family business.   The KELLY'S family have been renowned makers of Cornish Ice Cream for generations.

The Cornish Ice Cream Company are proud to bring back the traditional way to sell ice cream which was originally from a handcart or bicycle.  The Cornish Ice Cream Company sell from a "Stop Me and Buy One" bike or some prefer to use the modern term of Cornish Ice Cream Trikes ,  ours are recognised as Vintage Style Ice Cream Bikes.

We pride ourselves on good quality, tradition and family values and most import of all giving a first class personal service to our customers. It's also a great eco-friendly solution from a regular ice cream van.
